Radishes don’t get nearly as much love as they deserve. Most people think of them as a salad decoration if they think anything of them at all. Our French Breakfast Radishes will easily win you over if you find yourself in that camp. Tender, slim, red and white two-toned roots are only slightly spicy and grow very quickly in shallower soils than most root crops. In the kitchen, they can be sautéed, greens and all, in butter or olive oil for a delicious treat without any of the heat of a typical radish. Harvest them at no larger than 3” roots for especially tender, crisp roots.
