HI There .I have tried unsuccessfully to grow tomatoes on my roof as I am competing with the squirrels. I would have a game of keeping score but ultimately they won damaging the perfect fruit as it ripened. Any ideas to squirrel proof the fruits of my labor.
Thanks,wendy
So you’ll either need to develop a love for green tomatoes, or reinforce your garden. You can do that by getting a great outdoor cat or trying to cage in your garden a bit. Also, if there are tree limbs hanging over your roof, sometimes that’s there main access point and can be trimmed back to keep them from having a freeway to your garden.
Thanks, but there are no tree limbs just fire escapes to building but thanks for e-mailing back your ideas so basically give up unless I get a cat ( which I am allergic to by the way) or fortify ?? the garden .on my rooftop. any suggestions on fortification that isn’t unsightly
thanks,
wendy
