I couldn’t believe how many of these stick straight wax beans kept coming on their bush-type plants. If I didn’t love Pickled Wax Beans as much as I do- and I love pickled wax beans- it would have turned into a problem. Great in a cold salad after blanching or pickled and plunged in a Bloody Mary, these beans are big and crisp and will keep you well fed.

• Planting Depth: 1 in.

To Grow

• For Raised Beds: Space plants out 2-3 in., leaving 6 in. between rows.
• For Containers: Doesn’t have a deep root system, so can be grown in containers as shallow as window boxes. You can pack these seeds in pretty tight, leaving 2-3 in. spacing between plants.
