Royal Burgundy Bush Bean

Product Description

One of my favorites in the garden. This bush-type bean grows numerous purple beans in two big waves. Initial fruit set is heavy, followed by a second set about one week later. The pods are velvety to the touch and crisp to the tooth. When cooked, they fade to green.

• Date: Direct Seed April 15-September 1
• Planting Depth: 1 in.
• Germination Rate: 92%

To Grow

• For Raised Beds: Space plants out 2-3 in., leaving 6 in. between rows.
• For Containers: Doesn’t have a deep root system, so can be grown in containers as shallow as window boxes. You can pack these seeds in pretty tight, leaving 1-2 in. spacing between plants.
