Keep yourself in greens all Winter long! This Bloomsdale Spinach is especially adept at withstanding the worst of the Winter while yielding rich flavored, dark green leaves straight on to June. Plant in late Summer for a Fall harvest or plant in October for Winter greens and a jump start on your Spring harvest. These are 7th generation Brooklyn-grown seeds.

To Sow

• Date: For Fall Harvest, Direct Seed: August 1-September 1. For Spring Harvest, Direct Seed: October 1-October 30 and overwinter or Direct Seed: March 1-April 1
• Planting Depth: ¼- ½ in.
• Germination Rate: 95%

To Grow

• For Raised Beds: Space plants 3-4 in. apart, leaving 4 in. between rows.
• For Containers: For Containers: Can be grown in shallow window boxes or deep planters. Only needs 4” to 6” of soil depth so can be grown in almost any size container.
