Product Description
NEW VARIETY FOR 2015!
Also called Cumari, Wild Brazil is a truly unique hot chile. A bushy plant bearing hundreds of small, yellow fruits, Wild Brazil has a fruity flavor profile with hints of mustard and a whole lotta heat. Don’t let its tiny stature fool you—it packs a mean punch. A hot sauce made with Wild Brazil and Aji Dulce chiles has quickly become my favorite.
This is a great variety for containers that needs no support or trellising. If you can’t use the dozens of fruits all at once, Wild Brazil dries very easily. Simply spread them out in a sunny, dry, well-ventilated environment for 3-4 days or stick them in the oven at the lowest possible setting for about 8 hours. Seeds for these Wild Brazil were originally acquired from Tim Stark at Eckerton Hill Farm in Lenhartsville, PA.
